Students in the 4th through 6th grade can come and enjoy the company of fellow book lovers on Wednesday, April 1 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.! Bring a book to share with the group. It can be your favorite book or a book you are currently reading. Doughnuts and lemonade will be provided. Registration is required. Author Mike Mullin Visit
Tipton Community Schools, Tipton Education Association and the Friends of the Tipton Public Library present a special event for 8th grade students through adult. Mike Mullin will be visiting the Tipton Public Library on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. and presenting "How is Taekwondo Like Writing?". During the author talk, Mike will teach participants how to break things with a hammer-fist, how to become better writers, and a little bit about the Yellowstone supervolcano. He will also discuss the importance of determination, resilience, and grit in achieving life goals. This is a free event.
