Attention Patrons: E-books and Audio Books Available

Tipton Public Library has audio books and books for e-readers available for checkout through Overdrive. These electronic books will work on iPods, Kindles, Nooks and many other electronic devices.  In order to login, patrons will need to know their Tipton library card number.  This must be a 4-digit number, so if your card contains a number less than 4 digits, you must add zero(s) at the beginning of the number.  Just follow this link to get started.

Changes in Iowa Tax Form Availability

The Iowa Department of Revenue is no longer providing printed tax forms for distribution at Iowa public libraries.  You may use a library Internet computer to print Iowa tax forms from www.iowa.gov/tax

Other ways to obtain Iowa tax forms: Phone the forms order line at 1-800-532-1531; Request a form by email at IowaTaxForms@Iowa.gov; Request a form by mailing the Iowa Department of Revenue, P.O. Box 10460, Des Moines, IA 50306-0460.  Please allow two weeks to receive your order. 

Book Chat February 14

 Adult Coffee Time

Join us for adult coffee time at the library every Tuesday morning from 10:30-2:00.  Sip a warm drink and enjoy a cookie while browsing the newspaper or your favorite magazine.

Storytime Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Storytimes are held each Tuesday evening at 5:30 and Wednesday morning at 11:15. Storytime lasts for about 30 minutes and includes stories, rhymes, songs, movement activities, and more to engage young children. Both storytimes present the same stories and activities.
